Welcome to Angor Alucinor

Angor Alucinor is an Alternate Universe Harry Potter webcomic that focuses on Severus Snape. And it's weird. Very weird. The premise of the fic was subconsciously inspired by CLAMP's 'Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles' manga. Memories lost and trapped within a coma, Severus Snape must travel through the worlds of his subconscious and collect the fragments of his shattered mind. But time is running out; this dream world is slowly dissolving forever with Severus trapped inside.

Wow.

Has it really been 11 months since I last updated? Yes, yes it has. The comic isn't dead, really. I haven't been working on it much thanks to school and work and no-so-minor life crises.

Good news, though. I got a graphics tablet. And I have to test it and use it and all that good stuff... so I'll be working on Angor Alucinor with my new shiny toy. Downside is that the already not-terribly-good artwork will go down in quality until I get used to this new method. If anyone is still watching this, expect another comic up in the next couple of days.

Many Apologies!

Many apologies for not updating! There were several factors that converged all at once to prevent me from updating. The computer centre was closed, so I couldn't scan in my new drawings. And then I was stranded in Seattle for a few days. I only yesterday got to a Library with a scanner.

There should be regular once a week updates from here on once more!

End of 'marathon'

And that's it! No more pages until next week. This is actually the last page that I had archived on my computer. I need to scan more in!

Three-Day Marathon

Elle Enchanted and I have made a deal. As a result of that deal, I'm posting one page of this comic today, tomorrow, and Saturday!

Happy Halloween!

I would have drawn a Halloween page for the few readers that I have... but studying for my microbiology test took away all of my free time and brain power. >.>

Prologue Added

Due to the suggestion of a friend, I've added a three-page prologue at the beginning. Check the archives to read them, or just click on the link to the first comic.

These three pages should give a better idea of what exactly is going on. The first page of chapter one, I think, might drive off readers due to the '...what is -this-??' reaction.

Hopefully the transition is smoother now.

I lied.

Okay. I lied. I really thought that I would try to hold off putting the rest of the pages up, but not so much. At least now there's a vague semblance of what's going on. Tomorrow I'll scan the rest of the pages that I have, and start drawing more.

Yes. The art sucks.

I must have drawn this first page at least two years ago. The art is lousy, I know. But there were two reasons for starting this webcomic:

1) To improve my art skills.

2) To drive this plot bunny out of my head.

Even though I have more pages archived beyond what I've placed up already, I won't be updating more than once a week. The reason being that I haven't worked on this comic for several months now. To it will take me a bit of time to get back into drawing it. Not to mention that I'm in graduate school now and doing both research, teaching, and taking classes.

I'll try to aim for Friday updates.
